What kind of events does Plated Events at the Ranch host?


Rehearsal Dinners, Wedding Ceremonies, Wedding Receptions, Post-Celebration Brunches, Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties, Bridal Showers, Bridesmaid Luncheons, Family Reunions, Private Parties, Corporate Events, Non-Profit & Fundraising Events




What is the event capacity (how many people can attend)?


75 minimum - 3,000 maximum. The North Lawn (outdoors): 75-3,000




When is Plated Events at the Ranch open/available?


Year-round, with April through November the preferred months for outdoor events. Private parties also available through Christmas and holiday season. Monday through Sunday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.




What is parking like?


On-site parking is available for maximum 3,000. Additional charges may also apply for parties exceeding 150 guests.




Is on-site catering available?


Given the unique setting of our venues in the midst of operating agricultural ranches, Applicants must utilize Plated Events by Chef Jason, who have experience hosting numerous events on our properties, have access to our indoor and outdoor kitchen facilities, maintain current permits, insurance coverage, and liquor licenses, and will help ensure a satisfactory experience for Applicants and their guests.

Where can I rent equipment?


Available through Plated Events, Ventura Rentals or outside supplier:
generators, market umbrellas etc. The following equipment is available for rent through independent Rental Firms: (Preferred Client discounts may be available through Plated Events) Dance Floor, Tents, Tables, Chairs, Cushions, Lighting, Heat Lamps, Outdoor Fireplaces, Portable Bathrooms, etc.




Should I rent an outdoor tent?


Tenting creates indoor spaces at our outdoor venues. Layouts and rental costs are dependent upon each Event’s site specifications, total number of guests and catering details.




What are the ceremony and reception sites like?

The North Lawn: Ideal for larger groups, this site is surrounded by lush landscaping, lemon orchards, the sun-baked foothills typical of Southern California, and some ranch buildings built in the 1920s. Tall fir trees provided dramatic backdrops for photos, and shade for afternoon events. Guests are welcome to stroll through the adjacent Specialty Citrus Orchard or championship Bocce Ball courts. Ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinners-all events.




How much does it cost to rent a site?


Contact us for details. The facility is available prior to for preparation, pictures and use of brides room. Certificates of additional insurance are required.




How do I pay?


Deposit Due upon signing $ 500.00. The Remainder Balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event. Refundable Damage Deposit of $500.00 is due 2 weeks prior to the event. Proof of Event Insurance due 2 months before event.




How late can we party?


Our county's NOISE REGULATIONS require us to have all music off by 11:45PM.




Are any discounts available?


*Friday or Sunday weddings will receive a $500 discount.
